Singapore Radiological Society (SRS) Lee Foundation Technology Transfer Fellowship

The Singapore Radiological Society (SRS), with grant support from the Lee Foundation, is providing a bond free scholarship for purposes of a month long fellowship.

Objectives

a. To facilitate rapid international transfer of clinical technology and research

b. To exchange knowledge and enhance skills in

- basic, applied and clinical areas of radiology and oncology research

- new technologies and biomedical development

c. To acquire appropriate clinical management, diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for effective application and

use in the home organization upon return

We would like to congratulate the following who are awarded the Lee Foundation Technology Transfer Fellowship:

1. Dr Lawrence Quek, TTSH, for Advanced Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) in Brisbane, Australia and

2. Dr Neo Wee Thong, NUH for Imaging-guided Tumor Ablation in Seoul, Korea

Details on their fellowship will be published at a later date.

Mark your Diaries for the upcoming Singapore Radiological Society & College of Radiologists, Singapore 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting (SRS & CRS 22nd ASM), incorporating the annual 6th Nuclear Medicine Update, and a post-conference AIRP Radiologic-Pathology (RAD-PATH) course.
 
Organised by Singapore Radiological Society, College of Radiologists, Singapore, and incorporating the annual Nuclear Medicine Update, the theme of the 2013 ASM is “Advances in Oncologic Imaging and Therapy”. The entire scientific program will be developed based on this theme and address several clinical and basic science tracks in a more comprehensive manner where the international and local experts from diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine can participate.

LOCAL EVENTS

The Abdominal Imaging subsection of the SRS holds regular meetings, usually on Wednesdays. This is an opportunity to share interesting cases as well as keep up to date on the latest trends in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary imaging. The next meeting is as follows:
