2009, the CRS and SRS would like to continue the dialogue on matters that were raised during the session and also address some of the challenges in the very thought provoking lecture entitled ‘Does Radiology have a sell-by date?’ delivered by Prof Andy Adam, President of the Royal College of Radiologist UK.

 Radiologists face unique legal issues with regards to medical imaging, for example regarding missed diagnoses, lack of clinical information, patient confidentiality, and consent.
 Ms Mak Wei Munn and Mr Tham Hsu Hsien, both partners from Allen & Gledhill who have extensive experience in medical law, gave a talk on these issues, followed by a discussion on real-life case studies and a question and answer session.

Organised by Singapore Radiological Society, College of Radiologists, Singapore, and incorporating the annual Nuclear Medicine Update, the theme of the 2013 ASM is “Advances in Oncologic Imaging and Therapy”.
